In my junior year of Wheaton College, my friend and business partner, Grant Hensel, and I wanted to actually do a startup. We both have the entrepreneurial bug and wanted to do something real. We saw a need for small to medium businesses and restaurants to have better websites and social media engagement. And then Backbone Local was born to help.
